Tungsten and Molybdenum have the advantages of high melting point, excellent performance at elevated temperature, low electrical resistivity, lower thermal expansion, low work function of electron emission and low vapor pressure and etc., which makes tungsten and molybdenum materials be used widely in high temperature field.
Application:
Tungsten crucible is made of tungsten powder and mainly used for high temperature furnace, hot-zone of sapphire grower, quartz continuous melting furnace in the vacuum or inert gas under 2600℃.
According to customer requirements, we can provide regular density 18.3 g/cm3 (or less) and high density crucible (18.5 g/cm3) or higher,which has less deformation after heated.

Production Process:
We have four types of tungsten crucible for your choice: tungsten powder metallurgy sintering integral forming, riveting, tungsten sheet stamping, tungsten plate spinning.
Powder metallurgy sintering molding process is the most widely used for preparation of large size crucible, diameter 100 mm to 700 mm, common crucible shapes are round, square, strip type, V type and etc. According to customer's requirement, we can provide the conventional density 18.3 g/cm3 (or less) and high density crucible (19 g/cm3) or less.
Riveting, welding crucible using tungsten plate bended and finally fixed by welding. This method is suitable for the large size crucible with thin wall. As the wall is too thin, the strength is low too. The cost is relatively low.
For micro and small tungsten crucible, We can use the forging tungsten rods machining process or tungsten sheet stamping process.
Spinning process is suitable for the production of thin wall tungsten crucible with high technical requirements.
